Changing Landscapes

A Joint Exhibition of the Ghetto Fighters’ House Museum and the Gvul Gallery, Hanita

The exhibition "Changing Landscapes" presents works by artists from northern Israel grappling with the reality left in the wake of the “Iron Swords” war. Their work reflects the tension between the impact on the natural environment and a profound attachment to place, offering a personal view of a landscape and a region undergoing change.

Participating artists include: Avi Ifargan, Orly Sagie, Iris Penkasel, Doron Adorian, Tal Ga'ash, Yariv Cohen, Michal Dubois, Rachel Rabinowitz, Eran Partush, and Shlomi Haggai.

The exhibition also features works by Naomi Yudkowsky z"l, a founding member of Kibbutz Lohamei HaGeta’ot, whose landscape paintings open a dialogue across generations and artistic approaches.

This collaboration between the two institutions - the Gvul Gallery, itself damaged during the war, and the museum—reflects the capacity of art to create a space for resilience, healing, and renewal in a northern region undergoing profound transformation.
