Accessibility

  • Accessibility: The following sites in the Ghetto Fighters' House are accessible to persons with physical disabilities: the Holocaust Museum, Yad Layeled Children's Museum, Library, Archives, Administration Building, Tefilat Adam Synagogue, Cafeteria, and Auditorium.
  • Parking: Specially designated parking spaces are available in both the Ghetto Fighters' House and the Yad Layeled parking lots.
  • Restroom Facilities: All public restroom facilities are wheelchair-accessible.
  • Elevators: Elevators are available in both the main museum, Yad Layeled, and the archives. The elevator in the main museum is equipped with both Braille signage and a voice enunciator.
  • Wheelchairs: Wheelchairs are available in the Cloakroom, which is situated at the main entrance of the Ghetto Fighters' House.
  • Tools for the Hearing Impaired: Hearing impaired visitors at the Ghetto Fighters' House can borrow an assistive device worn on the neck that transfers the words of the guide or the personal audio guide to their hearing aid.
  • Multi-Media Guide:  A multi-media guide has been recently been installed at the Ghetto Fighters' House. With the help of this technology, visitors will be able to do a two hour self-guided tour the Ghetto Fighters' House and "Yad Layeled".
