Teacher Workshops 2015

Teacher training in the Arab sector:

"To learn about the Holocaust and to educate for democratic citizenship" — Training coordinator: Katef Murad Salame. 

The course is designed for history and civics teachers in Arab middle schools and high schools, as well as for teachers seeking to learn more about the programs at the Center for Humanistic Education and partially implement them at school through, for example, a "memory lane" track. The course consists of 10 sessions of 3 academic hours. The course is held at the Center for Humanistic Education at the Ghetto Fighters’ House Museum.

Courses for Jewish teachers:

Education for Democracy after the Holocaust”  - Seminar coordinator: Dr. David Netzer

This is a  workshop of conceptual-didactic enrichment. Seminars are designed for teachers of middle and high schools in the Jewish sector, as part of a framework of schools and PISGA centers. Courses are graded and comprise 30 or 60 academic hours.
